On June 1 apa campaign code  and 2, 2021, the European Commission and the Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union will host the Digital Assembly, which wil apa campaign code l be dedicated to Europe’s digital decade this year. This high-level event will focus on the EU’s 2030 targets for the digital decade and on the Digital Europe Programme, a new €7 apa campaign code .5 billion funding program for the roll-out of European digital projects.

Ministers from different Member States and representatives of the European Parliament and psyccareers  the Commission will participate in this event, as well as representatives of the private sector and civil society. They will discuss how to foster European leadership across the areas and 2030 targets set out in the

Commission’s Communication on the , including digital skills, the digital transformation of psyccareers  businesses, fast connectivity and secure and sustainable digital infrastructure, as well as the digitization of public services. Discussions will also focus on how best to promote and protect European values ​​and rights in the digital world.

Margrethe Vestager, Executive Vice-President for a Europe that is fit for the digital age, psyccareers  said: “The values ​​of the EU in a digital context are becoming increasingly important as our lives become more online. Our digital decade must therefore ensure that we as citizens have the same rights both online and offline.”

Internal Market Commissioner Thierry Breton said: “During the pandemic, we have seen how central digital technologies have become in our lives. The digital will be an important pillar of our recovery effort. Together we must shape a resilient and digitally sovereign psyc careers  continent, with the support of the Digital Europe programme.”

Digital Decade: Europe’s Vision and Pathways to Europe’s Digital Transformation psyc careers  by 2030

The first day of the Digital Assembly will focus on charting Europe’s path to a successful digital transformation by 2030, based on the visions set out by the Commission in its Digital Compass in March. Major investments will be made to achieve these goals, including through the Recovery and Resilience Facility.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will present preparations for a Joint Inter-Institutional Declaration on Digital Rights and Principles for the Digital Decade. The Prime Minister of Portugal, António Costa, will present the Lisbon Declaration, which will contribute to these preparations.

The upcoming Declaration on Digital Rights and Principles for the Digital Decade will include commitments such as ensuring access to high-quality connectivity across Europe, promoting digital skills for all citizens and building a fair online world without apa psyccareers  discrimination.

The purpose of the specific public consultation, which will run until 2 September 2021, is to spark a broad public debate and gather views from citizens, non-governmental and civil society organisations, businesses, public authorities and other interested parties. New digital data highway will bring Europe and Latin America closer together apa psyccareers 

The first day will also include the opening ceremony for the EllaLink, a project co-funded by the EU through the BELLA programme. The EllaLink is an optical submarine cable connecting the European and South American continents.

It is an important step towards the EU’s goal of investing in better connectivity with its partners: this cable will become the first direct high-capacity data link between Europe and Latin America, supporting the exchange and processing of research and education data . The EU is the largest investor in the BELLA programme, contributing €26.5 million, while Latin American national research and education networks and the Brazilian government have provided additional funding.
